Is the CV system fair for screening applicants?

We do not think so. In fact here at Bizzwork we are so sure that it is not the optimal method of screening that we have developed our own!

Our system of applicant screening works on the basis that each AND EVERY applicant for any role deserves the chance to pitch themselves, face to face, to the interested parties at the employer.

We know that there are a couple of issues here. This will be expensive to see every one face to face and also it will be very time consuming. Well the answer to both those questions is NO.

Here's why...

The cost of screening if you use an agency is relatively high. They are spending the time and effort on the selection process, working to your criteria. This is not cheap.

On the question of time our method can screen 20+ applicants in just one hour!

Each person who applies for a position at your company is by definition, interested in you. They are looking for a "positive" outcome from their experience. What better way to reward them than by giving them the opportunity to at least pitch themselves to you for two minutes in one of our rotation sessions? To see every one in person and be able to judge them Face to Face has got to be a better method and a more reliable one than the CV screening method, where no-one gets a chance to impress their personality on the very people who have to job vacancy to fill.

If you want a new way of screening applicants which will leave all of them happy to have been given at the very least a "chance", then contact us on info@bizzwork.com and we will be pleased to talk without obligation about your tailor made needs!
